How an office relocation runs
Site survey
We walk both offices, count workstations and equipment, and check freight-lift access at each end.
Move plan
You get a written plan with the date, the window, the crew size and the order floors or departments move in.
Crates delivered
Labelled crates arrive days ahead so staff can pack their own desks during working hours.
The move
Usually an evening or weekend. Dismantling, transport and reassembly happen inside the agreed window.
Set up and check
Desks rebuilt, crates placed at the right workstations, and a walk-through before we leave.
What changes the price of an office move
There is no flat rate, because no two homes or buildings are the same. These are the factors a surveyor is measuring.
Number of workstations
The clearest measure of size. Dismantling and rebuilding desks is the bulk of the labour.
Freight-lift access
A dedicated goods lift at both ends keeps it to one night. Passenger lifts only means more crew and more hours.
When it happens
Evenings and weekends need larger crews to finish inside the window.
IT and specialist equipment
Servers, medical or lab equipment need separate handling and sometimes a specialist on site.
Storage or a phased move
If the new office is not ready in one go, we quote the interim storage up front.

How much downtime will we have?
Most offices move in a single evening or over a weekend and open as normal the next working day. Larger sites are phased floor by floor so only part of the team is affected at a time.
Do you move IT equipment and servers?
Yes. Monitors, workstations and peripherals are wrapped and crated separately. For servers and network racks we coordinate with your IT team or provider on shutdown and restart.
Can you work weekends and public holidays?
Yes — most of our office moves happen outside working hours, which is why we quote crew size against the available window rather than a standard day rate.
Do you supply crates?
Yes. Labelled crates are delivered several days before the move so staff can pack their own desks, and collected once unpacking is done.
Do you handle building permits and freight-lift booking?
Yes. Tell us both buildings and we prepare the paperwork management asks for and book the goods lift at each end.
