Why an Abu Dhabi move is decided before the truck leaves
Most Abu Dhabi moves we run start or finish in Dubai, and that is a long drive with a loaded truck. The job is won or lost on when the crew leaves, how the load is secured for the highway, and whether the unloading end is ready when it arrives.
So we plan the far end first: the service-lift slot at the new building, the community gate pass and the parking spot for the truck. Then we work the loading time backwards from that, so the crew is unloading in daylight rather than waiting at a gate.

Where we move in Abu Dhabi
The communities we work in most, and what each one needs on the day.
Al Reem Island
High-rise towers with booked service lifts and loading bays. We confirm the slot with building management before the crew sets off.
Saadiyat Island
Villas and low-rise apartments with community security. Crew and vehicle details are submitted in advance.
Yas Island
Newer villa and apartment communities with good truck access — convenient for Dubai-bound moves along the E11.
Khalifa City & Mohammed Bin Zayed City
Large family villas. These usually run over two days with a carpenter on site for wardrobes and beds.
Al Raha Beach & Al Raha Gardens
Waterfront apartments and townhouses, most finished in a single working day.
Corniche & Al Khalidiya
Older city-centre towers where the loading point matters more than the lift. We check street access before the truck is booked.
Al Reef & Masdar City
Townhouse communities and newer apartment blocks near the airport road.
Mussafah
Office, warehouse and staff-accommodation moves with larger trucks and flexible hours.
What changes the price of an Abu Dhabi move
Distance is part of it, but the buildings at both ends matter just as much. This is what a surveyor checks.
Where the move starts
An Abu Dhabi-to-Abu Dhabi move and a Dubai-to-Abu Dhabi move are different jobs. Both are quoted as one price with travel included.
Size of the property
Apartments on Al Reem are often a single day. Villas in Khalifa City or Saadiyat usually run over two.
Lift and gate access
A confirmed service-lift slot or community pass at both ends keeps the day on time. Stair-carry needs extra crew.
Packing
Full packing, partial packing or transport only — each is shown separately in the written quote.
Storage
If the handover dates do not line up, storage is quoted up front rather than added later.

Moving in Abu Dhabi — common questions
Still unsure? Message us on WhatsApp — a coordinator answers, not a bot.
How much does moving cost in Abu Dhabi?
It depends on the size of the home, the lift or gate access at both ends, and whether the move starts in Dubai. After a short survey, on site or by video, you get one written price with travel included.
Do you move from Dubai to Abu Dhabi?
Yes, it is one of our most common inter-emirate routes. The same crew loads in Dubai and unloads in Abu Dhabi, so nothing changes hands on the way. Our Dubai to Abu Dhabi moving guide covers the paperwork on both sides.
How long does a Dubai to Abu Dhabi move take?
A one or two bedroom apartment is usually one day with an early start. Villas normally run over two days, packing on the first and transport and setup on the second.
Do you move within Abu Dhabi as well?
Yes. Moves between Al Reem, Khalifa City, Yas, Saadiyat and the rest of the city are quoted by crew, truck and hours.
Can you handle building NOCs and community passes in Abu Dhabi?
Yes. Tell us the building or community and we prepare what management asks for, including crew and vehicle details for gated communities.
Which areas of Abu Dhabi do you cover?
Al Reem Island, Saadiyat, Yas, Khalifa City, Mohammed Bin Zayed City, Al Raha, the Corniche, Al Khalidiya, Al Reef, Masdar City and Mussafah — and the rest of the emirate on request.
