What changes the price of an apartment move
There is no flat rate, because no two homes or buildings are the same. These are the factors a surveyor is measuring.
Number of bedrooms
A studio is usually a half day with two crew. A three-bedroom is a full day with four.
Service lift or stairs
A working goods lift at both ends is the single biggest factor. Stairs mean more crew and more hours.
Length of the lift window
A two-hour slot needs a bigger crew than an open afternoon, and that is reflected in the quote.
Packing
Transport only, partial packing, or full packing — each is priced separately.
Floor and carry distance
How far the lift is from your door matters more than which floor you are on.

How long does an apartment move take?
A studio or one-bedroom is usually a half day. Two to three bedrooms typically finish within a day, provided the service lift is available at both ends.
Do you book the service lift for me?
We coordinate it with you. Tell us the building and we will tell you what management needs, prepare our side of the paperwork, and agree the window.
What if my building has no service lift?
Then the crew carries. We allow for stair-carry in the quote up front rather than adding it on the day — common in older Deira, Bur Dubai and Al Qasimia buildings.
Can you move me within the same building?
Yes, and it is more common than people think. Same-building moves are quoted by crew and hours rather than distance.
Do you move on Fridays or in the evening?
Yes. Many towers only allow moves outside peak hours, so evening and weekend slots are normal for us.
